How it works
Set the original and desired servings (the multiplier updates automatically), or type a multiplier directly. Each ingredient line is parsed for a leading quantity — whole numbers (2), decimals (0.5), mixed numbers (1 1/2), simple fractions (3/4), and unicode fractions (½ ¼ ¾ ⅓ ⅔ ⅛). The quantity is multiplied and rewritten with tidy kitchen fractions (rounded to the nearest 1/8). Lines with no leading quantity, like Salt to taste, pass through unchanged. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
